Envision Hayward Community Workshop Pictures

On Saturday November 4^th, 2011 students from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo collaborated with the City of Hayward staff to conduct a public workshop. The workshop focused on Downtown Hayward. Participants provided insight about what they liked, what they disliked and what their vision of Hayward’s future Downtown would encompass. The following pictures show the community in action working to envision Downtown Hayward.

Welcome to Envision Downtown Hayward!

Over the next months, the City of Hayward will be working with City and Regional Planning students from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on developing a vision for the future of Downtown Hayward. The objective of this planning effort is to develop a shared community vision for downtown and make it a lively, vital, and enjoyable place. This blog is your connection to help shape this vision and keep up to date with new developments and ideas. Hayward residents are encouraged to share their comments and ideas and be a voice in the visioning process.
